Registered Nurse – Student Health Services

About the role
Provide independent and collaborative clinical nursing care to student patients within the Student Health Services of the Center for Health and Wellbeing. The role includes nursing assessments, patient education, triage, and treatments within the RN scope, as well as administrative nursing services for University of Vermont students.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments and provide direct patient care to students.
- Deliver patient education and perform triage and appropriate treatments.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting.
- Provide administrative nursing services, including health record management.
- Support an inclusive environment aligned with the mission of Student Health Services and the University.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing and active RN licensure in Vermont.
- Three years of related ambulatory nursing experience.
- Proficiency in triage, assessment, and clinical charting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusiveness and ability to work in a diverse environment.
