Registered Nurse – Same Day Surgery (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery team, providing patient‑centered care and coordinating interdisciplinary treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive health data and perform physical and psychosocial assessments.
• Determine nursing diagnoses, set expected outcomes, and develop daily interdisciplinary care plans.
• Implement interventions, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability.
• Provide individualized patient and family education.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation according to policy.
• Evaluate patient progress, revise care plans, and document outcomes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Committed, collaborative professional focused on patient‑centered care.
• Preferably at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Active Louisiana RN licensure.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• CAPA certification encouraged.
• Strong assessment, planning, and evaluation abilities.
• Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary care plans.
