Registered Nurse RN or Circulator - Day Shift

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse (RN) or Circulator at its East Orlando campus in Orlando, Florida. The position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to eligible candidates, and eligible clinicians can earn salary increases of up to 20% through a voluntary Clinical Ladder Program.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reviewing them regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing).
• Basic computer skills, including navigating Microsoft Windows-based programs.
• High-level abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions and revise care plans.
