Registered Nurse (RN 1) – Oncology Clinic – Full-Time

About the role

The Hollywood Oncology Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN 1) to join its full‑time team. This position provides direct patient care in an oncology setting, supporting physicians and patients throughout treatment cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on patient responses and physician orders.
• Review and report diagnostic test results to evaluate patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while considering age, culture, and psychological support needs.
• Administer medications safely, maintain accurate medication records, and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team, ensuring HIPAA compliance and smooth transitions.
• Assist with discharge planning and utilize resources to support patient transitions.
• Prioritize assignments, adapt to changing demands, and operate medical equipment responsibly.
• Adhere to university and unit policies, safeguarding assets and maintaining a compassionate environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• No prior experience required – entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Demonstrated learning agility, teamwork, technical proficiency with office software, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
