Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Respiratory (Full-time)

About the role

The University of Miami UHealth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Progressive Care Respiratory services. In this role you will provide patient care through prescribing, coordinating, evaluating, and delivering treatments in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You will also lead patient and family education to promote optimal recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by prescribing, coordinating, evaluating, and delivering respiratory treatments alongside the interdisciplinary team.
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching to ensure understanding of care plans and self‑management.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates must complete BSN within 2 years).
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum two years of progressive care nursing experience.

Required skills
