About the role

The UHealth Hospital Progressive Care Respiratory department is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to work in the UTower facility. The Staff Nurse (RN) delivers patient care through the nursing process, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and guides patient and family education. This role focuses on respiratory and progressive care patients in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Provide patient and family education and teaching related to respiratory care.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates have 2 years to complete BSN).
At least one year of Medical‑Surgical and Respiratory nursing experience.
Valid Florida RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Required skills

BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
