About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its Progressive Care unit. The RN will provide patient‑family centered, culturally competent care using evidence‑based practices to ensure safety and high‑quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care unit.
- Apply evidence‑based standards to maintain quality, safety, and service excellence.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to address population‑specific needs.
- Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with families.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates must complete BSN within 2 years).
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS‑CPR) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience.
Required skills

- RN licensure.
