Registered Nurse – PRI Inpatient Units (PRN)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work on the PRI Inpatient Units on a PRN (as‑needed) basis. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports patient care across varying shifts in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to patients in the PRI Inpatient Units.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and code situations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Arkansas (or ability to obtain).
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Availability to work varying shifts on a PRN basis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
