Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Clinic (Day Shift)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the TOSH Orthopedic Clinic in Little Rock. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct nursing care to orthopedic patients within a collaborative, academic health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic evaluation, treatment, and surgery.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor post‑operative recovery.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and communicate updates to the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care, mobility, and pain management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas RN license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
