Registered Nurse – Oncology Clinic (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology Clinic in Hollywood, Florida. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring safe medication administration and coordination with the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on patient responses and physician orders.
• Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic test results to assess patient condition.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications safely, maintain accurate medication records, and operate medical equipment.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with discharge planning using available resources.
• Prioritize assignments, adapt to changing work demands, and seek assistance when needed.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff, providing feedback and support.
• Adhere to university and unit policies, safeguarding assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and computer applications for documentation.
