Registered Nurse (Mohs) – Full‑Time

About the role

The University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Mohs unit on a full‑time basis. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced surgical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interview patients, obtain vital signs, and perform comprehensive assessments.
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with hospital policies and the Florida Board of Nursing regulations.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures, arrange tests, and coordinate patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly.
• Conduct daily equipment checks, monitor supply levels, and order replacements as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, assist team members, and coordinate procedural preparations with charge nurses, ARNPs, technologists, and physicians.
• Orient and support new and supplemental staff, fostering a comfortable and professional environment.

Required profile

• Current RN license in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Willingness to attend meetings, in‑service trainings, and professional development activities.
