About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical Intensive Care Unit at UHealth Hospital. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced, academic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Apply the nursing process and adhere to standards of care and practice.
- Provide patient and family education and guidance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum two years of critical‑care nursing experience.
