Registered Nurse (International Visa Sponsorship) - West Florida Region

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse in Tampa, Florida, for its West Florida region. The position is open to international candidates and offers visa sponsorship. The nurse works in an acute care setting and supports the smooth operation of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to medication safety policies and support quality standards and initiatives.
• Evaluate the nursing plan of care and communicate patient responses to the team.
• Participate in practice changes driven by performance improvement activities.
• Maintain safe practice through unit-specific clinical competency and regulatory compliance, following CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
• Record and access patient information in electronic medical records and set patient goals based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Assist providers with bedside procedures and complete mandatory educational requirements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
• NCLEX pass letter and/or active license; additional licensure or certification may apply depending on unit or state.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in English and verbal communication.

Pay range: $31.85 - $50.90. Positions may be subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
