About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Per‑Diem Registered Nurse to join its Intermediate Care Unit. This part‑time, intermittent position provides patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent, evidence‑based environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, safety‑focused nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Apply evidence‑based standards and protocols in the Intermediate Care Unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN holders have 2 years to complete BSN).
- Active Registered Nurse license in Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum two years of acute Intensive Care Nursing experience.
