Registered Nurse – Infusion/Oncology (Coral Springs)

About the role

The University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 to join its Infusion/Oncology team in Coral Springs, FL. This full‑time position provides direct patient care, medication administration, and support throughout treatment cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, document nursing care, and monitor vital signs and symptoms.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
• Review diagnostic tests and communicate findings to the care team.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering age and cultural factors.
• Provide psychological support and maintain a compassionate environment.
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate medication records.
• Coordinate discharge planning and communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members.
• Operate medical equipment safely and serve as a preceptor for new staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to learn new procedures, work collaboratively, and communicate clearly.
