About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Head & Neck department at the U‑Tower location. The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and lead education for patients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care following nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other team members to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching related to head and neck conditions.
Required profile
- BSN graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum two years of medical‑surgical nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
