About the role
The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) is South Florida's only university‑based health system, delivering leading‑edge patient care backed by research and education at the Miller School of Medicine. The Head & Neck department at the U‑Tower location seeks a full‑time Registered Nurse to provide critical care to patients and guide family education.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Apply the nursing process and standards of care to ensure high‑quality treatment.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching related to head and neck conditions.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred (ASN hires have 2 years to complete BSN).
- Valid Florida RN license with BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of critical‑care nursing experience.
