About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Head & Neck and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at the U‑Tower location. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and lead patient and family education.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient care in accordance with nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching on treatment plans and post‑discharge care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Required profile
- BSN graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Active State of Florida RN license.
- Minimum three (3) years of medical‑surgical nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Any combination of relevant education, experience, and certifications will be considered.
