Registered Nurse Float – Clinics (Lake Charles)

About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a float provider across its clinic locations in Lake Charles. The RN will deliver patient‑centered care, support interdisciplinary teams, and help achieve the unit’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Identify learning needs of patients and families and deliver appropriate education.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
- Utilize data and evidence to drive improvements in patient outcomes.
- Maintain cultural sensitivity and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- No prior experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational, time‑management, and leadership abilities.
