About the role

A cardiothoracic surgeon is sought to provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position is advertised by Summit Recruiting Group, which lists the location as Lake Charles.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and manage cardiac and thoracic disorders using open and minimally invasive techniques
Perform aortic surgery
Perform minimally invasive valve repair and replacement
Perform coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
Treat surgical conditions of the lung and chest cavity

Required profile

MD or DO
Board certified or board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery
Fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery required
