Registered Nurse – Employee Health (Hybrid – Bayou Region)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead its Employee Health program in the Bayou Region. This hybrid position combines on‑site support at designated facilities with remote responsibilities, including virtual employee onboarding and health‑safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver employee health services such as disease detection, prevention, treatment, and follow‑up for illnesses and injuries.
• Conduct monthly tuberculosis screenings and manage other occupational health programs.
• Gather and integrate employee health data to develop individualized care plans.
• Delegate nursing interventions to licensed and unlicensed team members within scope of practice.
• Administer prescribed therapies and medications using reference guides.
• Communicate critical health information to multidisciplinary teams, employees, and families.
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and certification.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical, occupational health, or employee health experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
