Registered Nurse – Correctional Facility (Pendleton, OR)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the medical unit at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton, Oregon. The position offers flexible scheduling, a manageable patient load, and the opportunity to provide continuous care within a secure correctional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals, including assessment, treatment, and health education.
• Administer vaccinations, manage diabetic regimens, and provide post‑operative and end‑of‑life care.
• Insert, monitor, and maintain IV lines and other medical devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient interactions accurately in accordance with state regulations.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
• Experience or strong interest in caring for underserved and incarcerated populations.
• Ability to work in a high‑security, team‑oriented environment.
• BSN or MSN preferred; bilingual ability is a plus.
