Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse specialized in behavioral health to join our multidisciplinary team in Las Vegas. The role involves delivering high‑quality inpatient or outpatient mental health care, supporting patients through assessment, treatment, and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor efficacy, and manage side‑effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families using evidence‑based therapeutic communication.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental‑health topics.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure coordinated discharge planning and after‑care support.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their administration protocols.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ANA ethical standards.
