Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse specialized in Behavioral Health to join our multidisciplinary team in Las Vegas. The RN will provide direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on mental health assessment, treatment, and support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and social workers.
• Administer prescribed psychotropic medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document side effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families using evidence‑based therapeutic communication techniques.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental‑health topics.
• Coordinate discharge planning, after‑care services, and referrals to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Nevada.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably inpatient or outpatient.
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and administration protocols.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ANA ethical standards.
