Registered Nurse – Addiction Recovery – Sign‑On Bonus up to $15k

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care within the Opioid Treatment Program and outpatient services at Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services in Ithaca, NY. This full‑time, day‑shift position focuses on compassionate, trauma‑informed care for individuals with Opioid Use Disorder while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct professional nursing care to clients in the OTP clinic and, when needed, on the Mobile Medication Unit.
• Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs, risk and withdrawal assessments, in line with OASAS regulations.
• Administer medications and execute nursing interventions according to provider orders and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in electronic and paper medical records.
• Communicate client medical needs and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent; BSN preferred.
• Active New York State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in behavioral health, substance‑use disorder treatment, or outpatient settings.
• Experience providing direct patient care, nursing assessments, and clinical documentation.

Required skills

• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.

• Crisis intervention and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
