Registered Nurse 3 – Night Shift

About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse 3 to work the night shift in Augusta. This full‑time position offers the chance to provide high‑quality nursing care to a diverse client population while contributing to statewide health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and needs under broad supervision.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
• Provide health maintenance advice, disease prevention education, and case management as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Three years of professional nursing experience, or one year of experience at the Registered Nurse 2 level (or equivalent).

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning.
