About the role

The Registered Nurse 2 provides patient‑family centered care at the Coral Springs Oncology Clinic, delivering culturally competent, evidence‑based nursing services. This full‑time position oversees nursing and allied health staff while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
• Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic test results to monitor patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications and perform patient tests safely, maintaining accurate records per regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with discharge planning using available resources.
• Prioritize assignments, adapt to changing demands, and operate medical equipment safely.
• Serve as a preceptor, guiding new staff and providing constructive feedback.
• Adhere to university and unit policies, safeguarding institutional assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Valid State of Florida RN license (additional certifications as required by department).
