Registered Nurse 2 – Full‑Time, Multi‑Specialty

About the role

The University of Miami’s UHealth SoLé Mia campus is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 to provide patient‑family centered care across multiple specialties. This full‑time position involves direct clinical duties, supervision of nursing staff, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and modify treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
• Review diagnostic test results and communicate findings to the care team.
• Consult with physicians and other professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while respecting cultural and age considerations.
• Administer medications safely, maintain accurate medication records, and operate medical equipment.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and team members in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Assist with discharge planning and resource coordination.
• Prioritize assignments, adapt to changing demands, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
