About the role
The University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Doral Clinic team on a full‑time basis. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, and support a compassionate healing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients, document nursing care, and monitor vital signs.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient response and physician orders.
- Review and report diagnostic test results.
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate medication records.
- Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with discharge planning and transition of care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new staff, providing feedback and guidance.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
