About the role

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a Registered EEG Technician to join its Neuro Epilepsy team. The role involves performing and monitoring electroencephalogram studies to support diagnosis and patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex EEG examinations in the laboratory, at the bedside, ICU and operating room.
  • Select predetermined electrode combinations and operate video recording equipment to monitor patients.
  • Maintain and clean EEG and evoked potential equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Provide training and instruction to new personnel on EEG technology and interpretation.

Required profile

  • Completion of an accredited EEG program or an Associate’s Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics.
  • Registered EEG Technician (R.EEG.T) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience as an EEG Technician.

Required skills

  • Operation of EEG equipment and electrode placement.
  • Use of video recording equipment for patient monitoring.
