About the role
The Registered Dietitian provides individualized nutritional care as part of the outpatient team at UAMS. The role includes patient education, documentation, and collaboration with medical staff.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop care plans.
- Document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients, families, students, and professional staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and presentations.
- Perform clerical duties and other assigned tasks.
Required profile
- Registered Dietitian (RD) license in Arkansas.
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics and completion of a dietetic internship.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Electronic medical record documentation.
