Regional Vice President, Business Development – New Jersey

About the role

Source Logistics is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new‑logo acquisition in the high‑density Food & Beverage market of New Jersey. This senior, hunting‑focused position will act as the regional commercial representative, owning a defined territory and driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 30/60/90‑day plan targeting named accounts in the region.
• Leverage existing Food & Beverage relationships to generate qualified leads.
• Build a self‑sourced pipeline aligned with annual revenue targets and manage it through a disciplined sales process.
• Conduct consultative discovery calls, design customized logistics solutions, and present proposals with pricing strategies.
• Displace incumbent 3PL providers by delivering superior service design and relationship management.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking in HubSpot CRM.
• Collaborate with Operations, Solutions, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long‑term success.
• Represent Source Logistics at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Food & Beverage‑adjacent commercial, business development, or sales roles.
• Proven track record of acquiring new logos and meeting revenue targets.
• Deep, portable network of contacts within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation abilities.
