Regional Sales Manager – West Coast

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our food product sales across the West Coast. You will drive growth, manage key customer relationships, and oversee sales operations within an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market‑share targets.
• Identify new business opportunities in retail, grocery, and distribution channels.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to shape sales plans.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to launch new products and promotions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional agreements.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives and account managers.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and manage budgets and trade spend.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field (preferred).
• 5–8+ years of sales experience in the food industry, CPG, or foodservice.
• 2–3+ years of sales management or team‑leadership experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the West Coast region (30–60%).
