Regional Property Manager – Houston

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties in the Houston area. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall performance and profitability of a portfolio of properties within a designated region. It involves developing and implementing effective property management strategies, ensuring high tenant satisfaction, and optimizing financial returns for property owners.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties and review financial, market and operational reports to ensure operational, financial and business performance goals are met.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and profitability across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with community managers and regional support services leaders to enhance asset and team performance.
• Lead adoption of local and national operational initiatives and ensure revised protocols are applied at all properties.
• Oversee and manage budgets, monitor financial targets and prepare regular performance reports for ownership and senior management.
• Foster positive tenant relationships, address concerns promptly and implement retention programs to minimize turnover and vacancy rates.
• Partner with leasing teams to develop marketing strategies, achieve optimal occupancy and reduce vacancy.
• Oversee maintenance programs to ensure properties are well‑maintained, compliant with regulations and presented in a professional manner.
