Regional Manager – Solar Operations & Maintenance

About the role

The Regional Manager leads the business unit for solar operations and maintenance in the assigned region, ensuring safe, on‑time service delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of 6‑10 field technicians, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• Oversee all service obligations, schedule and approve work orders, and coordinate emergency response with 365‑day coverage.
• Plan and execute annual preventative maintenance, including electrical and vegetation tasks.
• Manage subcontractors, tools, inventory, and budget while supporting hiring and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in utility solar PV.
• At least 3 years of service or project‑oriented management experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb frequently and work in varied weather and electrical hazard environments.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.269 and NFPA 70E standards.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics, technical specifications, and site plans.
• Experience with QA/QC processes, preventative maintenance, and RMA coordination for solar equipment.
