Regional Maintenance Manager

About the role

As a Regional Maintenance Manager at Amazon, you will lead maintenance operations across multiple sites, overseeing Maintenance Managers and their teams while developing strategic maintenance programs. You will blend strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development to ensure operational excellence throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers, Area Maintenance Managers, service technicians, and automation engineers across multiple sites.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage regional department budgets and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and partner with site safety leadership.
• Oversee capital spending plans, conduct cost analysis, and coordinate external contractors.
• Travel up to 80% domestically to support sites, participate in network‑level initiatives, and provide hands‑on guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial or logistics environment.
• Strong financial acumen for budgeting and capital project management.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80% of the time).
• Ability to work safely and promote a culture of safety.
