Regional Escrow Officer – Palm Harbor, FL

About the role

As a Regional Escrow Officer you will support Sunbelt Title’s escrow officers and local branches in Palm Harbor, ensuring smooth, paper‑less real‑estate closings. You will manage administrative and compliance tasks throughout the transaction lifecycle, acting as a key liaison between internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date task lists via workflow dashboards and prevent overdue items.
• Review title commitments, prelims, and buyer/seller information forms.
• Order tax certificates, HOA documents, surveys, payoffs, and lien releases.
• Balance files, prepare closing documents, and complete assigned workflow tasks.
• Evaluate real‑estate contracts and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Compile and process escrow instruction packages and ensure proper filing.
• Partner with escrow officers and branches to prepare for closings and provide timely status updates.
• Identify discrepancies, assess risk, and escalate issues to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in escrow, title, or real‑estate transaction support.
• Strong understanding of the full lifecycle of a real‑estate file and closing documents.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to work independently in a high‑volume environment.
• Excellent communication, critical‑thinking, and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using AI tools such as CoPilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple escrow software applications.
