Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager – North Coast

About the role
The Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will lead and develop EHS programs across multiple wineries, vineyards, hospitality venues, and bottling facilities on the North Coast. Based at the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, California, you will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards while fostering a proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee EHS compliance for multiple sites, including wineries, vineyards, hospitality, and bottling facilities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Facilitate root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventative actions to prevent incidents.
- Review workplace practices to ensure adherence to EHS policies and enforce compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and functional support to site management and hourly employees on EHS matters.
- Communicate EHS updates through bulletins, newsletters, memos, and meetings.
- Organize and deliver training across all departments to raise awareness and compliance.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Perform trend analysis and collaborate with engineering on project planning and maintenance activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading EHS programs across multiple facilities.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Ability to conduct root‑cause investigations and develop corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering training and safety communications.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate record‑keeping and regulatory reporting.
