Regional Director of Customer and Distribution Management Americas

About the role

The Regional Director of Customer and Distribution Management Americas will lead Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions' customer and distribution activities across North and Latin America, driving profitable growth and strengthening relationships with multinational clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Americas growth strategy in line with global priorities.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team of senior professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and customer excellence.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive developments and regulatory trends across the region.
• Drive new business growth and retention for multinational employee benefits programs, including Global Profit Sharing, Global Underwriting and Captive Solutions.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with clients, consultants, brokers and key market influencers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of sales experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, consulting or financial services, including multinational business exposure.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing commercial or distribution teams.
• People‑management experience and strong strategic thinking.

Required skills

• Active individual insurance producer license (U.S.) and willingness to obtain additional state licenses, including a New York broker license.
• Fluent English; Spanish and/or Portuguese considered a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
