Regional Director, Construction Management – MD, PA, DE

About the role

Sun Tribe EPC is seeking a Regional Director of Construction Management to lead its solar EPC projects across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. This senior leader will be fully accountable for construction performance, safety, quality, and budget compliance while driving regional strategy and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Construction Managers across the assigned region, ensuring accountability and consistent execution.
• Oversee construction performance for multiple active projects, monitoring schedule, safety, quality, staffing, and budget.
• Develop pre‑construction execution strategies and support mobilization readiness.
• Serve as senior construction leader on high‑priority or complex projects.
• Identify performance trends, mitigate risks, and intervene to keep projects on track.
• Allocate personnel, equipment, and resources across the regional portfolio.
• Support recruiting, hiring, coaching, and performance management of construction staff.
• Enforce safety, quality, environmental, and reporting standards.
• Resolve complex field, client, subcontractor, and staffing issues.
• Maintain field presence during critical phases to reinforce standards and assess performance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and EHS teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in construction management, preferably within solar EPC or utility‑scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to drive regional construction strategy and ensure execution consistency.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Experience managing multiple projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent risk identification and mitigation skills.
