Recruiting Coordinator

About the role

OpenAI is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to drive the logistics and coordination of its hiring efforts. You will partner closely with recruiters, sourcers, interviewers, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, high‑quality candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end interview scheduling for both evergreen and opportunistic hiring needs.
• Coordinate onsite interview logistics, including candidate greeting, travel, and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with recruiting operations to solve workflow challenges using data and automation tools.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Support senior and executive‑level candidate processes in partnership with the Executive Operations team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting coordination experience with a track record of scaling processes.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast‑changing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Discretion when handling confidential candidate information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar and G‑Suite.
• Experience using recruiting tools such as Ashby, Guide, Slack, and Notion.
• Familiarity with AI or technology trends is a plus.
• Ability to leverage ChatGPT or similar AI assistants for workflow efficiency.
