Recruiter – Retail Talent Acquisition

About the role

J.Crew is seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead full‑cycle talent acquisition for its retail product teams. You will source, attract, and hire top talent across design, merchandising, planning, and allocation functions, helping shape the teams that create the collections our customers love.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for product‑related roles, managing multiple searches simultaneously.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using online platforms, networking events, industry associations, and creative channels.
• Provide a consistent, high‑quality experience for candidates and hiring managers through clear communication and timely follow‑up.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates, industry professionals, and retail communities to sustain a diverse talent pipeline.
• Partner with hiring managers, HR partners, and department heads to understand role requirements and align recruitment strategies with business goals.
• Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices into every stage of the hiring process.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the retail sector.
• Strong understanding of retail talent needs, trends, and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
