About the role

Citarella, a family‑run gourmet market in New York, is looking for a proactive Recruiter to strengthen its culture and talent pipeline. You will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Key responsibilities

• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and advise on final selections.
• Source talent independently through social media, networking, job boards, and cold outreach.
• Partner with hiring managers to define needs and build qualified candidate pipelines.
• Maintain a high‑volume flow of applicants, refresh requisitions, and track market trends.
• Participate in campus recruiting events and conduct reference and exit interviews.
• Provide analytical reports on hiring trends and support job‑description creation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of direct recruitment experience.
• Strong communication skills and a candidate‑first mindset.
• Ability to act as a brand ambassador and represent Citarella’s values.
• Highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
