Recruiter – Full‑cycle Talent Acquisition

About the role

Profound is building the marketing platform for the AI era and needs a versatile recruiter to drive talent acquisition across all functions. As a generalist recruiter you will own end‑to‑end hiring for engineering, sales, marketing, operations, finance and any new roles that emerge as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruiting for any prioritized function, from sourcing to offer.
• Adapt quickly to shifting business needs, partnering with domain‑specific recruiters to handle overflow and unconventional searches.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies for unfamiliar or first‑of‑their‑kind roles, creating playbooks where none exist.
• Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to define scorecards, interview loops and service‑level agreements.
• Deliver a high‑touch candidate experience that reflects Profound’s fast‑paced mission.
• Maintain ATS hygiene, track conversion metrics and iterate on processes to improve time‑to‑fill.

Required profile

• Proven full‑cycle recruiter who has hired across multiple functions in fast‑growing startups.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building sourcing plans from scratch.
• Highly adaptable, able to reprioritize on short notice as business needs evolve.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience tracking time‑to‑fill and source yield.
• Familiarity with the NYC startup ecosystem is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics.
• Strong sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and networking.
