Recruiter – Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition

We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join Louisiana Cat’s growing team in Reserve, Louisiana. In this role you will connect talented individuals with opportunities across service, sales, parts, and corporate functions, helping power our community’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, managing the full‑cycle process from sourcing to offer.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, focusing on passive candidates through networking, referrals, and pipeline building.
• Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling job postings and ensure they are distributed across multiple platforms.
• Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted recruiting advisor.
• Keep accurate candidate records and generate timely reports using the ATS and HR systems.
• Monitor market trends and competitor hiring practices to continuously improve recruiting tactics.
• Represent Louisiana Cat at job fairs, industry events, and community outreach to strengthen employer branding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of recruiting experience, preferably in heavy equipment, skilled trades, service, or sales.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive talent using LinkedIn, job boards, and networking.
• Tech‑savvy with strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HR platforms (Paylocity experience a plus).
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
