Recovery Support Specialist – Multiple Shifts

About the role
The Recovery Support Specialist ensures the safety, well‑being, and orderly care of clients in a residential setting. Working multiple shifts, you will report to the Operations Supervisor and play a key role in daily client management.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee client safety and security during shifts.
- Maintain accurate client counts and conduct scheduled and unscheduled counts.
- Prepare incident reports, statements, and other written documentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and process client request forms.
- Assist with client admissions, discharges, and orientation classes.
- Conduct facility and client searches, urine collection and testing, and medication dispensing.
- Transport clients to work sites or external appointments.
- Address client behavior issues, applying discipline or rewards as appropriate.
- Lead recreational activities, workshops, and group sessions.
- Participate in pre‑ and post‑shift debriefings and maintain daily logs.
Required profile
- Ability to understand and apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or similar program ideologies.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
