Receiving and Operations & Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Operations & Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Riverside Bioenergy Facility’s feedstock receiving area and renewable natural gas systems. The role involves receiving and unloading liquid organic feedstocks, performing routine maintenance, monitoring process equipment, and documenting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Safely receive and unload liquid organic feedstocks from 5,000‑gallon tanker trucks following operating procedures.
• Verify manifests, inspect loads for contamination, collect representative samples, and document receiving activities.
• Monitor offloading operations, coordinate with haulers, and address any issues that affect flow.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, routine field inspections, and daily site walks; record work orders in the CMMS.
• Operate and monitor plant process equipment in accordance with SOPs and industry safety practices.
• Collect production data, adjust plant operations as needed, and support laboratory sampling and analysis.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
