Real Curriculum Implementation Assistant

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Real Curriculum Implementation Assistant to support the development and delivery of a new RQM curriculum. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work closely with public health professionals, gain hands‑on experience in curriculum design, and contribute to training that impacts Georgia’s health community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Prof. Ordóñez in developing and implementing the RQM curriculum.
• Review project documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Participate in weekly one‑hour virtual meetings with GA DPH and Emory teams.
• Collect, organize, and analyze project‑related and survey data.
• Support planning and delivery of a three‑day RQM training (two in‑person days and a half‑day online session).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate program relevant to the assignment.
• Availability for all three training days, including travel outside Atlanta in Spring 2026.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with HIV‑related public health is a plus, not required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of qualitative research methods.
• Experience with survey data analysis.
