R&D Lab Analyst Intern

About the role

Stryker is looking for biomedical engineering interns to join its Research & Development teams in Tennessee. The internship is onsite and lets you apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced, growing industry while working on meaningful projects with mentors and high-level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Research new technologies, customer expectations, business requirements and regulations
• Design new products and improve existing ones using technical education
• Use tools such as CAD, FEA and test labs to develop product concepts and improve product safety and efficacy
• Document complex processes clearly and present them effectively

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences or Chemistry (e.g. Biology, Microbiology, Cell and Molecular, Biochemistry)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at hire
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

• $20 minimum to $35 maximum hourly wage
