Raw Material Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Raw Material Operator works on a production line to blend products, coordinate raw vegetable flow, and operate specialized equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in a food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Blend products according to quality and specification sheets.
• Coordinate the flow of raw vegetables and substrate to the line.
• Operate and adjust equipment such as blenders, mushroom and zucchini machines, hoists, grinders, and dumpers.
• Order, issue, return, and reconcile raw materials; complete batch sheets and required documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, follow food‑safety and GMP standards, and use PPE as required.
• Identify, correct, and escalate safety and food‑safety risks.
• Add food additives, load products, and assist with transporting heavy items using appropriate tools.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of machine‑operating experience in manufacturing; food‑manufacturing experience preferred.
• Continuous‑learning mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new equipment and processes.
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Required skills

• Operation of manufacturing equipment (blenders, hoists, grinders, dumpers).
• Digital data entry and accurate record‑keeping.
• Knowledge of SOPs, food‑safety regulations, and GMP standards.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic equipment maintenance.
